I feel as snowflakes fall on my still flesh and melt.
Their cold sharp taste blend with my blood on my tounge,
I know I breath for last time before all will be lost,
despairingly struggles and shouts in vain,
despairingly struggles and shouts....
Feeling the moments that buried by the prime,
Season of lords ends after their decease.
I pass through dark passage appointed with mirrors,
Where my memories are reflected through intens mist,
Sleeping deep, my dark sides invade me, all my entity,
all my entity.
It hurts to breathe and to strive.
Now its time to fall asleep to perish,
Snow is fliying upon stones and taking me.
When our dreams turn into ashes, and ashes turn into dust,
Our eyes will see all pure reality without illusion's play,
Snowflakes will cover our senseless fleshes which lost longing to live,
There is not enough time to understand this life...

This was truly a revelation. I was getting started with funeral doom, working on something with my headphones on... Then came Déluge... my jaw actually dropped, I stopped what I was doing and, wide-eyed, just listened to the track, baffled and amazed. After the album was over (I never do this), I went to lay down with my headphones to enjoy it over again. I rarely heard (and felt) this much power and emotion in an album. Until I find something better, this is my landmark for peak funeral doom.

It's very atmospheric, with a lot of feeling, and that old school vibe, like one of my favorite albums "Always" from "The Gathering".

An absolutely amazing album that reaches you to the bottom of the abyss. Gaia takes you by the hand, tells you that you're not alone in this, the pain is over, the misunderstanding of your pain is over and accompanied by keyboards, violins, acoustic guitars, cello and amazing vocals, she pulls you out of the disgusting mire of your mind and together you embark on a journey of melancholy, despondency, hope, pessimism and the seasons.
